Camille found me on Instagram a year before her wedding. She wanted something soft and luminous that would still feel like her, from the morning coffee to a late-night dance under the string lights.

The morning
We set up by the window of the inn with music, croissants and her five bridesmaids. Everyone went first, Camille went last. A skin prep massage, a soft brown smoky eye, individual lashes and a rosy lip she had picked at her trial.

The look
Long-wear, skin-like and made to last through a windy ceremony on the bluff. We kept the colour warm to match the late summer light and her champagne dress.

I cried three times and my makeup did not move. I still cannot believe it.

- A second lip colour for the evening
